Learning to Praise

I've been learning so many new songs recently that I can barely keep track of them. The writers of each song have been so inspired to write lyrics that seem to resound in my life, describing my experiences and expressing my heart thoughts so perfectly. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for moving the worship leaders to choose these songs to lead us in worship!

You bled, died and rose again for me. I see Your Face in every sunrise... Each morning, I have the privilege to look into the sky and say, You're beautiful, Lord Jesus.



I often wonder how the island shores can be so beautiful. Without a doubt, my thoughts reply, God created them. He spoke them into being. And then I wonder, does heaven have shores? Eternity sounds like it should have shores... red sand, white sand, it doesn't matter. To be able to utter the sweet name of Jesus on this earth, to be able to say to the person next to me that Christ has saved us! and then to be able to revel in the knowledge that we will see the King of kings and Lord of lords at the end of this arduous journey at the pearly gates. I can't wait to sing Hallelujah with the angels on the shores of eternity.
